Eric Eislund & The Act 5 Entertainment Team
Act 5’s foundation rests on the global experience, talent, and contacts that Eric Eislund has established over the past 30 years successfully bringing live entertainment productions, attractions and exhibitions to over 50 countries, generating over $1 billion in revenues. Eric has worked with a variety of major productions and brand owners during his career with a specific focus on producing and presenting entertainment that is created based on popular IP’s.
Eric started his career with Feld Entertainment, the producer of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and Disney On Ice. Between 1990 and 1997, Eric led the growth of the Disney On Ice international touring business across 55 international territories. Between 1998 and 2008, Eric was a founding partner of the international production company ThemeSTAR, which launched over 40 productions in 17 languages around the globe. ThemeSTAR’s primary focus was the creation, production and presentation of IP based live and experiential entertainment working with major IP licensors that included Warner Bros., Universal Studios, Viacom-Nickelodeon, Dreamworks, Mattel, the BBC, the National Football League and more. ThemeSTAR also partnered with the producers of major productions including Cirque du Soleil and Walking with Dinosaurs to bring these productions into new markets. Eric and his partners negotiated an acquisition of ThemeSTAR by AEG to form AEG Themestar which continued to license IP and produce attractions between 2008 and 2012.
In 2012, Eric and his partners formed Act 5 Entertainment which is active as a developer, co-producer, general manager and consultant for theatrical, arena and experiential projects in North America and international markets.
